1. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to run your account and deliver your orders:

• Account details: your mobile number (used for OTP login), name, email address, and password if you set one.
• Business details: outlet or legal business name, delivery address, and related contact details.
• Order activity: carts, orders, scheduled orders, delivery slots, favourites, product requests.
• Payment and account records: wallet top-ups, wallet and credit transactions, invoices, and account statements. Card, UPI, and net-banking details are entered on our payment partner's secure page and are not stored by DailyDrops.
• Device and usage data: device type, operating system, app version, a push-notification token, app usage events, and crash reports.

2. How we use your information

• To create and secure your account, including verifying your mobile number by OTP.
• To process, schedule, deliver, and support your orders.
• To manage your wallet, credit limit, payments, invoices, and statements.
• To send order updates and service notifications.
• To improve the app, fix crashes, and understand how features are used.
• To meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

3. Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with parties that help us provide the service, and only as much as they need:

• Cashfree Payments, to process online payments and wallet top-ups.
• Google Firebase, for push notifications, app analytics, and crash reporting.
• Our delivery and operations staff, to fulfil your orders.
• Government or law-enforcement authorities, where required by law.

4. Data retention

We keep your information while your account is active. Order, payment, and invoice records may be kept for longer where tax or accounting laws require it.

5. Deleting your account

You can delete your account in the app from Profile → Profile Settings → Edit Details → Delete Account. Deletion may be blocked while you have pending orders, active schedules, or outstanding dues. Once deleted, your personal data is removed or anonymised, except records we must keep by law.

6. Security

We use encrypted connections, secure on-device storage for login tokens, and access controls to protect your data. No system is completely secure, so please keep your login credentials private.

7. Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may ask to access, correct, or erase your personal data, withdraw consent, and raise a grievance. Contact us using the details below.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will change the date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, notify you in the app.
